Immigration Evaluations

The immigration journey is often marked by deep uncertainty, emotional hardship, and, for many, a history of trauma. I provide compassionate and trauma-informed psychological evaluations to support individuals and families facing immigration challenges, including hardship waivers, asylum, VAWA (Violence Against Women Act), U-visas, and T-visas.

With specialized training in trauma and a culturally sensitive approach, I create a safe and respectful space for clients to share their stories—at their own pace and in their own words. I am fluent in Spanish and conduct evaluations in either English or Spanish, ensuring clear communication and genuine understanding for every client.

Each evaluation is tailored to the unique circumstances of your case and includes a thorough, evidence-based report that highlights the psychological impact of your experiences. I work closely with immigration attorneys to ensure that each report meets legal standards and supports your application with clarity and compassion.

Your story matters. My goal is to help you feel seen, heard, and supported throughout this process.

Types of Evaluations

  • This evaluation explains the emotional and psychological hardship a qualifying U.S. citizen or permanent resident would face if their loved one were denied immigration relief.

  • For individuals fleeing persecution or violence in their home country. This report documents trauma symptoms and supports the request for protection in the U.S.

  • For those who have experienced abuse by a U.S. citizen or permanent resident spouse, parent, or child. This evaluation describes the psychological impact of the abuse.

  • For victims of qualifying crimes who have experienced significant harm and are cooperating with law enforcement.

  • For survivors of human trafficking, including labor and sex trafficking. This evaluation documents the psychological effects of exploitation and trauma.
